Brent Tree Champions

 

Brent Tree Champions has been set up with the following aims:

• Campaign to maintain and preserve existing Brent trees in public spaces and private gardens.

• Campaign to increase the tree canopy through replacement of felled trees and new planting.

• Encourage the community to appreciate their trees and their contribution to mitigating the local effects of the climate and ecological emergencies.

• Encourage the community to actively engage with the above aims.

 

Individuals and organisations who agree with these aims are invited to join us.

We hope to set up a Whats App group for those who are interested in keeping contact and react to any emergencies regarding threats to trees.

To value and publicise our existing trees in Brent we encourage people on the Brent FoE mailing list to send a photograph of their ‘Tree of the Month’ with the location to the above email to include on our Twitter account or if they have an account post it themselves #brenttreeofthemonth
